Fox Run Vineyards

If you’re on the hunt for Seneca Lake wineries that have both wine and food covered, then you’ll love Fox Run Vineyards.

It’s known for its wonderful Rieslings and red wines, but you can also try out their uber-dry pours if you fancy something different from Seneca Lake wineries.

But the best thing about this Seneca Lake winery is the cheese board selection. We might be biased, but we adore pairing a perfect glass of wine with rich cheese and a hunk of bread.

Although their commitment to the environment is impressive, the most amazing part of this property is still the wines.

The Chardonnay is particularly dreamy. It’s subtle and warm with notes of vanilla, hitting the tongue with confidence.

If you’re not a fan of Chardonnay, you can choose from any of their signature wines during your tasting. There is an excellent selection of reds, so don’t overlook them!

This is possibly our favorite location for Rieslings as there are just so many options. 

But if you need a helping hand, we suggest trying the HJW Riesling Bio. It’s gloriously sweet and incorporates notes of honey for a natural taste that’s not overpowering.

Although we adore their beers, ciders, and wines, we’re partial to their amazing Mimosas. 

They’re made using the winery’s signature sparkling Riesling and a delicious glass of local juice. Delicious.

If you need to soak up all that alcohol with a hearty meal, then you can stop by the onsite Phoenician bistro. It serves amazing Mediterranean fare and is well worth trying to score a table at.
