There are a couple of rental places across Siesta Key, but if you’re planning to rent a jet ski at the weekend, we recommend booking ahead if you can, as this is always such a popular activity for visitors!

If you want a typically ‘Siesta Key’ experience, then we can’t recommend Captain Curt’s Crab & Oyster Bar enough.

This place is a favorite with locals and visitors alike, and it’s one of the best ways to try some of the local area’s seafood!

What do we love about this place? It’s not just seafood! There’s also a tiki bar to enjoy and they put live music on too! It’s just a great overall experience!

Kayaking

Next on our list of things to do in Siesta Key, it’s kayaking! Kayaking is a great activity to get involved in when you visit Siesta Key, and it’s a lovely option for both beginners and experts alike.

If you’ve never kayaked before, you could take your first lesson here in Siesta Key!

Phillippi Estate Park is can be found on the shores of Phillippi Creek, and it’s a wonderfully scenic estate, is a scenic estate south of downtown Sarasota and east of Siesta Key.

The park itself is full of things to get involved in, such as environmental, recreational, historical and archaeological amenities.

Siesta Key Farmers Market

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens
