SW Steakhouse (at the Wynn)
First, on my list of the best food in Las Vegas, it’s Chef David Walzog’s Four-Star Award-winning SW Steakhouse. I LOVE this place, it’s an expensive choice, but it’s worth every dollar you spend.
This place is just perfection, from the decor and the experience to the amazingly friendly and knowledgable staff, to the delicious food and the BEST STEAK I”VE EVER EATEN. I’d eat here every night if I could afford it! Definitely deserves the top place on my list of the best food in Las Vegas.
The Yardbird (at the Venetian)
If you love fried chicken (I mean, who doesn’t?) then The Yardbird is going to tick so many of your boxes. It’s one of my top 3 restaurants in Vegas, and it’s one of those places I make sure I visit when I’m in town.
This place serves up some of the best food in Las Vegas, and that much I know for sure! It’s southern food, with a modern twist, and the portions are huge, and it’s hearty and tasty, and I’m drooling whilst I type about it, that’s how good this place is!
Andiamo’s Steakhouse (at the D Hotel)
Next up on my list of the best food in Las Vegas, it’s another steakhouse. Can you tell we love steak in our household? The reason Andiamo’s Steakhouse is one of my choices for the best food in Las Vegas, is because of the sheer quality of food on offer, but also the experience and vibe you get when eating here.
Andiamo’s is located in Downtown Vegas, and it’s worth venturing off the strip to experience this slice of old-style hospitality and service. It’s just a complete 10/10 restaurant and somewhere we always go back to time and time again. It’s amazing and a solid choice on my list of the best food in Las Vegas.

Block 16 Urban Food Hall
OK, so next on my list of the best food in Las Vegas isn’t actually a restaurant… it’s a food hall! This place has a ton of food options inside (which sometimes change season on season) and it’s also in the heart of one of Las Vegas’ best hotels too!
There are so many different types of food available in the Block 16 Urban Food Hall, so it’s an amazing place to go if you’re looking to try lots of different cuisines, and try a bit of everything! Definitely one of the top places to find the best food in Las Vegas – without a doubt!
Gordon Ramsey Burger (in Planet Hollywood)
Next on my list of the best food in Las Vegas, it’s a burger place! If burgers are your thing, then Gordon Ramsey’s Burger inside Planet Hollywood is going to tick your boxes for the best food in Las Vegas. Blossom (in Aria)
Blossom is a great Chinese restaurant, serving some of the best food in Las Vegas. If you love Chinese food, but you fancy a bit of a fancy night out, then Blossom will be a great choice. The food is fresh and sophisticated, and the setting inside the restaurant feels really special too. If you’re a fan of modern cuisine, but also love your classic dishes – Bardot Brasserie is going to be a great choice for you when looking for the best food in Las Vegas. With chefs Chef Michael Mina and Chef Nick Dugan heading up the food side of things, this place puts a twist on those classic dishes – and it’s a fantastic place to enjoy some different tastes and flavours.

Another burger place makes it onto my list of the best food in Las Vegas! Black Tap is insanely cool. MASSIVE portions, great flavours, amazing decor and location… and seriously instagram-able too. Think gigantic burgers, chicken wings, a massive milkshakes topped with all sorts of amazing goodies!
Other Mama (off strip)
Other Mama is next on my list of the best food in Las Vegas. This place is a bit of a local’s secret, and as it’s located off the strip, not many tourists will be bothered to find it. It’s a delicious mix of Japanese fried chicken, spicy tuna tartare and waffle fries… and let me tell you, you’re gonna love it.
Gemma Gemma Pizza (off strip)
Ok, next on my list of the best food in Las Vegas, it’s an amazing pizza place. Sure, Las Vegas isn’t best known for it’s pizza (it’s more NYC’s deal) but you’ll still find some incredible pizza in the city of sin. Gemma Gemma is one of my favourites, it’s crispy, delicious, everything you want from a pizza. I mean, just look at the photo below and tell me you’re not drooling!

If you’re looking for sushi… let me present to you Kabuto. This place is everything you’d expect a sushi place to be… sophisticated, slick, delicious. Just a perfect sushi experience and definitely some of the best food in Las Vegas.
Honey Salt is next on my list of the best food in Las Vegas. Located off the strip in Summerlin, this place is all about seasonal ingredients, a homely atmosphere and a really beautiful eating experience. Egg Slut (inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel)
Egg Slut is a late-night haunt, and it’s a place that is worth the queue (and there will definitely be a queue – this place is well loved!). I love this place because it’s affordable and equally tasty. It’s amazing burgers, served with eggs (obviously, hence the name) and it’s just SO DAMN GOOD. A perfect choice from this list of the best food in Las Vegas… especially if you just fancy something quick and easy!
Budget: Depends which you go to!
How could I write a list of the best food in Las Vegas and not mention a buffet. I’m writing this in 2021, and currently most of the Las Vegas buffet’s are closed… BUT when they reopen, a Las Vegas buffet is a great food experience to have in the city.
The buffets I personally recommend are either the Aria Buffet, the Cosmopolitan Buffet (Wicked Spoon) or the Wynn Buffet. As soon as they reopen, I’ll be first in line for a seat at the table, for me you don’t get a more iconic choice for the best food in Las Vegas, than a Vegas buffet.
Mizumi (in The Wynn)
If you’re looking for Japanese food on this list of the best food in Las Vegas… then Mizumi is a great luxury option to try out. It’s located in the Wynn Hotel, and it’s one of the most up-scale Japanese restaurants in the city. It’s the kind of place that has frequently received brilliant industry and customer reviews, and has amazing consistency and tastiness. Definitely a great choice for the best food in Las Vegas!
Tap Sports Bar (in MGM Grand)
Next on my list of the best food in Las Vegas… it’s the Tap Sports Bar. OK, this place might not be for everyone – and I’m not going to try and convince you that the food is anything extraordinary… BUT if you love traditional bar food, and you love quality and BIG portions, you should definitely give this a try.
The food is tasty and great quality, and the bar has a fun vibe too. It’s just a great low-key casual place to eat, where you know you’re going to get some of the best bar food in Las Vegas. We head there almost every time we visit the city, because it ticks our boxes! Simple, but one of my favourite places to find the best food in Las Vegas.
Twist by Pierre Gagnaire (in Waldorf Astoria)
Twist by Pierre Gagnaire is a restaurant for special occasions… it’s a great choice for a special date like a birthday or an anniversary. Of course, you’ll find some of the best food in Las Vegas here too! This place is fancy… and the price reflects that – so make sure you’ve budgeted accordingly so you can have the full experience!
Rolling Smoke BBQ (off strip)
OK, I couldn’t write a list of the best food in Las Vegas, without mentioning this incredible BBQ place. The first time I ate here I felt like my eyes had been opened to a whole other standard of BBQ meats and food. It’s about 5 minutes off the strip (a short cab ride!) in this weird little parking lot (and it doesn’t look like much from the outside) but don’t let that put you off.
This place is jam-packed with the most AMAZING BBQ food you can imagine. If the following things are your idea of a dream dinner menu then you’re going to love it here… ribs, burnt ends, brisket, sausages, burgers, pickles, wings…
Wing Lei (in The Wynn)
Next on my list of the best food in Las Vegas, it’s Wing Lei in the Wynn. I visited this place for my anniversary one year and was really blown away. Wing Lei was actually the first Chinese restaurant in the USA to be awarded a Michelin star, so it’s a pretty special place.
As I mentioned, it’s located in the Wynn Hotel, and it’s beautifully presented and decorated – giving off a really beautiful and luxurious vibe. The food echoes that, and the quality of the dishes is just stunning.
Secret Pizza (in The Cosmopolitan)
Next on my list of the best food in Las Vegas, it’s the Secret Pizza place inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It’s relatively hidden away, but ask any staff, and they’ll be able to point you in the right direction. If you’re after a cheap dinner / lunch / drunken snack late at night, then sell pizza by the slice here and it’s downright delicious. Don’t miss this place on my list of the best food in Las Vegas.
HANU Korean BBQ (off strip)
And next on my list of the best food in Las Vegas, it’s got to be Hanu Korean BBQ. This place is located slightly off the strip, but it’ll only cost you about $10 in a taxi, and the food is worth it, I promise! You can get all-you-can-eat Korean food here, it’s super affordable and SO tasty. It’s one of my favourite places to eat off the strip, and it’s also one of the best Korean BBQ places I’ve been to in the USA.
If you’ve never done a Korean BBQ before, the idea is simple. You have a BBQ hot plate in the middle of your table, and the meat is brought to you raw. You cook the meat yourself on your BBQ, and serve it up when you’re ready! It’s a great food experience for groups and families and couples – and it’s absolutely some of the best food in Las Vegas.
If you’re into nachos… Then you really should visit Nacho Daddy at least once during your trip to Las Vegas. Ok, in terms of sophistication this isn’t ever going to be the best food in Las Vegas… But if you want super delicious, tasty, filling food that’s affordable – it could very much make the list of the best food in Las Vegas. I’m trying to include a bit of everything here, no matter what your budget. So, if you fancy a nacho-themed lunch, this might be the place to come!
