Fort Pierce’s Farmers Market is next on my list of things to do in Fort Pierce. It is genuinely considered to be one of the best things to do in Fort Pierce and it’s a great choice for foodies.
With the Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers Market including more than 70 vendors along the city’s waterfront, it’s the best place in the city to grab those seasonal fruits and veggies. Don’t forget the amazing Florida oranges that the state is so famous for!
If you’re into arts and crafts, several vendors have some truly lovely art up for sale, so be sure to take a couple of hours to really explore if you’re just visiting the area.
Fort Pierce beach

UDT-SEAL Museum
The UDT-SEAL Museum is next on my list of things to do in Fort Pierce – and it’s one of the most popular museums in the area. is dedicated to preserving the tradition of the USA’s armed units. In case you’re not familiar with it, the UDT section of this museum’s name refers to the underwater demolition team!
Fort Pierce is home to the navy program that created the UDT and SEAL units, and many visitors find this bit of history completely fascinating. So, if you’re into your naval history, be sure to pay this place a visit and add it to your list of things to do in Fort Pierce!
Regional History Center
The St. Lucie County History Center has been open for over fifty years and has some truly impressive collections of Florida history. If you pay the museum a visit, be sure to check out the Native American exhibits.
