Educating visitor on everything from shell fishing to recreational fishing, this popular museum is well worth a spot on anyone’s list of things to do in Biloxi.

Even if you’re not a fishing fanatic, you’re bound to find the exhibits here interesting – trust us! 


Old Biloxi Cemetery

Although we don’t recommend a visit to the Old Biloxi Cemetery for those who are easily spooked, we just felt this historical spot had to make it onto our list of the top things to do in Biloxi.

As you walk through this cemetery, you’ll notice that some of the headstones date back at least 200 years.

Not only will you be able to visit the graves of regular Biloxi residents, but you’ll also be able to spot the final resting places of more prolific figures such as George Ohr and General Robert Davis. 

If nothing else, the Old Biloxi Cemetery is one of the best things to do in Biloxi, Mississippi, for anyone looking for some peace and quiet! 


Hurricane Katrina Tree Sculptures

The devastation left by Hurricane Katrina is still keenly felt by the residents of Biloxi. Although the worst of the damage has been remedied, there are still scars left by the disaster that are visible across the city.

Across the city, you will find trees that were damaged by Katrina marked with truly beautiful sculptural work.

Although these trees did not survive the impact of the hurricane, their scars act as a reminder of the community’s resilience through one of the city’s most trying moments.
