Even though Las Vegas is known as a party city, it’s actually a great place for solo travelers, and there are loads of things for solo travelers to enjoy there.

From ziplining and observation decks, to crazy museums and relaxing spa days – this city has something for everyone and every budget, and flying solo can actually make a lot of things more affordable.

In my list of 34 things to do in Las Vegas by yourself, I’ve tried to include a mix of free things, mid-range activities and a few luxury and high-end suggestions (incase you win big when gambling!).

So, let’s get into it!

Watch the Bellagio Fountains

First up on my list of things to do alone in Las Vegas, it’s watching the Bellagio Fountains. This is perhaps one of the easiest things you can do solo. Just rock up, grab yourself a spot overlooking the lake, and wait for the fountains to start!

I recommend watching the Bellagio Fountains during the daytime for smaller crowds, but during the evening for a more impressive show, and more energy.

Either way, watching the Bellagio Fountains is an iconic choice, and one of those must-see things in the city.

Learn to gamble

My next suggestion for things to do in Las Vegas solo is a little different, but it’s a lot of fun!

If you didn’t know… during the quieter hours of the casino (usually during the morning) you can actually head to quiet tables and learn to gamble. So if you’re a novice, then there are still ways to learn!

If there’s a table game you’ve been desperate to learn, but never mastered, this is such a great way to pass some time.

Most casinos offer some kind of lesson / teaching situation, so it’s worth asking when you check in! It’s a fantastic choice for solo travelers in Las Vegas, and a great way to meet people too.

Check out The Venetian Hotel

Next up on my list of things to do in Las Vegas by yourself, it’s visiting the Venetian Hotel, more specifically, the gondola and canals.

This is one of the most iconic hotels, and the ‘fake Venice’ area of the hotel, with real canals and gondolas is seriously out of this world.

I’d take a stroll down there, soak it all in, and maybe even grab a cup of coffee overlooking the grand canal! And take a gondola ride too (you’ll save a bit of money too, being a solo traveler!).
