Are you looking for the ultimate list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples? Here’s the only list you’ll need!
My husband and I visit Las Vegas twice a year – AND WE LOVE IT. There are so many crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples, and this is the only list you’ll need!
Despite what movies may have you believe, Las Vegas is actually a pretty romantic city, and there are so many fun things romantic and cute things to do here.
You’ll find plenty of romantic bars, romantic restaurants and nightclubs (if that’s your thing!). As well as so much more! You’ll be spoilt for choice – I promise!
As someone who’s only ever been to Vegas as part of a couple, I think it’s the perfect location for a couples getaway because there are so many crazy things to do for couples in Las Vegas.
Go Shopping
OK, i know this doesn’t sound crazy, but I’m easing you in! Trust me. I know you might be shaking your head reading this first suggestion, but trust me!
Las Vegas is the only place in the world my husband will actually agree to shop, and enjoy it. Because you just don’t get shopping malls like Vegas shopping malls anywhere else in the world.
First of all, you have to understand, shopping malls in Vegas aren’t like normal shopping malls… The malls are huge, and usually themed (which makes it so much crazier walking around) and there are shops to suit just about every taste and budget.
My favorite has to be the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace Hotel – themed to look like an ancient Roman town, and with incredible sculptures and design.
This is one of those crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples that’ll be entertainment for both of you equally! Set yourselves a challenge when visiting, for who can find the craziest thing on sale… Or maybe the most crazy-expensive item?
Take a helicopter ride over the strip
Next on my list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples, it’s something a bit special! Las Vegas is the kind of city where you go big, or go home. So why not take a helicopter ride?
It’s such a romantic thing to do as a couple in Las Vegas, and it’s definitely something you’ll never forget. I’d highly recommend it.
It’s crazy romantic, memorable and once-in-a-lifetime. I can’t imagine something more crazy-beautiful to do with your other half!
If you REALLY want to push the boat out on the ‘romance’ it might be worth booking a helicopter ride that also includes the Grand Canyon (for my recommendation: click here).
Click here to book a helicopter tour.
Walk down Fremont Street
Why does this make my list of crazy things to do for couples in Las Vegas? Because Fremont Street is crazy chaotic, that’s why.
Fremont Street is in Downtown Vegas, and it’s so much fun. It’s a little bit like old-school Vegas, and it’s a different kind of vibe and atmosphere to the strip (where all the big hotels are).
There are street performers, live bands, outdoor bars, it’s full of stuff to do. You have to experience it to know why Fremont Street is such a big deal, so don’t miss it!
Click here to book a tour of Fremont Street.
Visit Top Golf
Top Golf in Las Vegas is on ANOTHER LEVEL and it’s one of the best things to do in Las Vegas for couples. Hands down.
There are three levels of golf driving ranges, overlooking the city. Even if you don’t really play golf, it’s such a fun activity for couples.
You can do different challenges against each other, and just play it as competitively or as laid back as you like.
I don’t really like gold much at all, but this is one of my favorite things to do in the city with my husband for sure. They also have great food too, delivered right to your private golf booth, and drinks service too!

Experience the High Roller
Next on my list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples, it’s the High Roller! Now, to inject a little bit of extra ‘crazy-romantic’ into this idea, I recommend hiring out an entire cabin all to yourselves!
It’s fun during the day or night too – as both times will offer lots of different views. BUt the glittering lights of nighttime, probably swing this for the romance!
If you’ve not got the budget for a private cabin, you can also buy ‘skip the line’ passes too for those hot summer days, when you don’t want to be queuing in the heat.
I’d definitely recommend booking ahead as it can get busy! But the views are worth it… I promise!
Click here to book skip-the-line High Roller tickets.
Go for cocktails at a rooftop bar
Next on our list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples, it’s rooftop cocktails. A classic date night activity!
Looking for somewhere glamorous, exclusive and romantic? Las Vegas is FULL to the brim with sophisticated rooftop bars that are all kinds of romantic.
My favorite is The Foundation Room. It was the highlight of my last trip to Vegas, and my husband and we drank for hours, just talking and enjoying the epic view.
Some other lovely rooftop bars in Vegas are;
- Beer Park (casual drinks, by the Bellagio Fountains)
- Voodoo at the Rio (nightclub with bar area)
- Skybar at the Warldorf Astoria (fancy and incredible views)
- Skyfall Lounge at Delano Hotel (high-end and trendy)
Watch The Bellagio Fountains together
The Bellagio Fountains are just stunning, and definitely something to make time for.
Head there around 8pm, and find yourself a good spot under the trees and towards the center of the fountains – and you’ll find it’s easy to waste away a couple of hours just watching the fountains come and go every 15 minutes.

Here’s a list of the best places to view the Bellagio Fountains from, so you can find the perfect spot!
Visit The Neon Museum
For something a little different, the Neon Museum is the next suggestion on my list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples.
Venture out of the main strip and explore The Neon Museum in downtown Vegas. The tour of this museum takes about an hour to walk around (it’s guided) and it’s so fun to see all the old neon signs that once stood pride of place in the city.
There are plenty of fun facts to learn, and fantastic photo opportunities to take advantage of too!
It’s especially nice because we got to venture out of the normal Vegas tourist areas, so it’s a great choice for things to do in Las Vegas for couples.
Experience some fine dining
Next on our list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples, it’s fine dining. Fine dining is crazy-luxurious, and it’s a great thing to do whilst you’re in the city.
There are so many incredible fine dining restaurants in Las Vegas (more than you could ever try in one trip!) and doing something a little special is the perfect date night idea.
If you wanted to combine the Bellagio Fountains, with some amazing dining – here’s a list of restaurants that overlook the Bellagio Fountains. There are some great fine dining choices on there to look into.

Visit Red Rock Casino for the night and get a suite!
If you want to get off the strip, and enjoy some cheaper gambling, food and entertainment, then we really recommend visit Red Rock Casino.
It might feel a little crazy to leave the strip just for a night, but trust me! You’re going to love it here. This great casino and hotel is on the edge of Las Vegas in the Summerlin area, and it’s an awesome place to spend the evening enjoying yourselves!
It’ll cost you around $35 in an Uber to get out there, but you’ll save loads of money on table minimums (the roulette and craps minimums are $10 here last times we checked), and the drinks are cheaper too.
They have a huge casino, a cinema complex, loads of dining choices, and a swanky hotel piano bar! They also have the most crazy-amazing swimming pool which I know you’re going to adore.
Have a night out at the best clubs for couples
Next on my list, it’s experiencing the city’s nightlife. There are loads of nightclubs in Vegas, so of course you should have a night out during your time in the city!
Some of the clubs in Vegas are more suited to couples, and I picked my favourite night clubs for couples here.
Often, you can get better prices for entry as a couple, or special drinks offers – so it’s well worth doing some research before heading out!
A great option for crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples, especially if you love drinking and dancing!
Erotic Heritage Museum
The Erotic heritage Museum definitely fits the brief for crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples.
It stands as a testament to the human fascination with sexuality, featuring an extensive collection of art, artifacts, and exhibits on eroticism.
It’s a provocative destination for couples seeking to explore the complexities and history of human sexuality in a bold, educational format. And let’s face it, it’s certainly a little bit crazy!
Take a Gondola Ride at the Venetian
Next on my list, it’s the Venetian Hotel and their famous Gondola rides. It is pure magic. It’s a re-creation of Venice inside a hotel, and you have to see it to believe it.
It’s one of my favorite places to visit in Vegas, and one of the most memorable things to do for couples in Las Vegas, has to be taking a romantic Gondola ride along the Venice canals.
You even get serenaded during your boat ride too, so it’s a classic choice for crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples.

Watch a Cirque du Soleil show
Next up on my list of things to do in Las Vegas for couples, My Favourite show is ‘O’ – there is honestly nothing like it anywhere in the world.
Honestly, if you’re considering a show is Las Vegas, ‘O’ is the most romantic. It is magical, beautiful and just mind-bendingly impossible. It has you laughing, on the edge of your seat, gasping – it’s just incredible. Have I raved about enough? Hopefully.
Every time we’re in the city with friends we take them to this show and every time they come out after with their jaws on the floor.
If you’re going to see a show in Las Vegas – make this it. It’s the perfect choice for things to do in Las Vegas for couples.
Hit up a buffet
You can’t go to Vegas and not visit a buffet. If you and your partner love food…. YOU CAN’T VISIT VEGAS AND NOT VISIT A BUFFET. SO FIND ONE AND GO.
Honestly, there’s nothing quite like a Las Vegas buffet. You’ll be crazy-full when you leave (and you might need a nap!) but it’ll be so worth it.
Watch the Mat Franco magic show
Next on our list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples, it’s the Mat Franco magic show. This is one of the best magic shows in the city, hands down.
What makes the Mat Franco show so great? It’s an intimate venue for starters, but we also love that show is a mix between stand-up comedy (Mat is hilarious) and magic.
It’s one of those shows we’d go and see again and again, it’s a lot of fun.
Have an ADVENTURE
Next up on my list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples… It’s an outdoor adventure.
Get outside for some adventurous stuff! Las Vegas is an incredible city, but it’s also surrounded by some of the most amazing landscapes – perfect for adventures. Embrace your wild side and find something a bit wild.
I love the quad bike tour around Lake Mead… It’s close to the city (so you don’t have to spend all day getting there) but it’s also so much fun.
It’s such a memorable activity and will be such an adrenaline-fuelled day out.
Visit the Famous Food Street Eats @ Resorts World
If you and your partner consider yourselves foodies, then you’re going to love the Famous Foods Street Eats inside Resorts World. It’s a great choice for things to do in Las Vegas for couples!
This is a relatively new addition to the Las Vegas strip, and it’s a hub for delicious food, with lots of wonderful food vendors to sample to taste!
The food court is right next to the casino, so you can combine a little gambling, with a lot of food!
Read our guide here on everything you need to know about the Famous Foods Street Eats in Resorts World.
Hire a private pool cabana for the day
Next on my list of things to do in Las Vegas for couples, it’s a pool day! You can visit any hotel and use their pool facilities, as long as you pay the resort fee, or hire a cabana.
A great idea (for something a little more special) is to hire a private cabana for the whole day.
At the Aria Hotel that’ll cost you about $300 – $500 depending on the time of year, and the Aria pool is sooo good!
The cabana was spacious (with indoor and outdoor seating areas) and included soft drink, and we even had a massage come round at one point too!
In Las Vegas, where you’ll find beyond plenty of things to do in the evening and during the night, sometimes it can be nice just to relax and pamper yourself during the day.

Get greeted at the airport by a limo
Next up on my list, is something for the very start of your trip! When you arrive in Las Vegas, there is only one way to be greeted – and that’s by a limo.
It’s the perfect start to your holiday and it’s a perfect surprise too (if you’re the kind of person who likes to plan romantic gestures).
Your limo driver will be waiting for you at baggage claim to help carry the bags out, and then once you get into the car there is a bottle of champagne (maybe beer too!) waiting for you.
Can you think of any better welcome after a long haul flight? It’s an epic pick for crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples.
The Flamingo Wildlife habitat
If you and your other half are crazy about animals, then the Flamingo Wildlife habitat is an amazing place to escape the chaos of the Las Vegas Strip.
As you probably guessed, it’s located inside the Flamingo Hotel, so it’s really easy to reach from most central hotels.
It’s a peaceful nature habitat, a relaxing four-acre garden, complete with those beautiful pink birds, exotic birds, waterfalls, turtles and fish too!

Do a ghost-tour
OK, Las Vegas might not seem like the most obvious location for a ‘ghost tour’ but it’s actually a pretty cool date idea, and such a crazy-fun ideas for couples.
Get yourself a bit freaked out and experience a few spooky encounters – it’s definitely worth doing if you’re visiting around Halloween!
This is super unexpected and fun, I think you’ll love it. Click here to book tickets to the ghost tour.
Gamble!
You’re in Vegas, so why not do a bit of gambling? How could I write a list of things to do in Las Vegas for couples, and not include a bit of gambling?
My husband and I took to making it a bit of a competition, to see who could come out on top after a night on the roulette table. He won the first night, I won the second night.
Maybe we’ll do the tie-breaker next time we visit…
Whichever table you end up playing at, gambling is a really fun way to spend the time in Vegas.
Just make sure you stick to a budget, and remember to be sensible with your spending money!
Do a Grand Canyon day trip
The Grand Canyon simply had to make my list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples!
It’s a long day as tours usually leave Vegas around 7am, and return about 8pm – but it’s so worth it (especially if you’ve never been before).
As a couple, it’s a fab thing to do as you can spend the day soaking in the amazing views together.
I recommend this tour company – so if you’re going to Las Vegas as a couple – these are the people you’ll want to book with (click here).

Upgrade your room to a penthouse!
You’re there as a couple – so chances are you’ll be spending some time in the bedroom.
In Las Vegas you can upgrade your room when you check in for like half the price you’d usually pay, which is why this makes our list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples.
So don’t forget to ask about whether or not they have upgrades available!
In 2019 we upgraded in the Cosmopolitan Hotel to a Corner Wrap-around Terrace Suite for just £30 a night extra – and that was the best hotel room we’ve ever stopped in!
Visit the Mob Museum
A museum trip might not be the first thing that springs to mind when you think of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples – but actually, the Mob Museum is a lot of fun and great for anyone remotely interested in the gangsters / mob era of the city.
It’s a fascinating museum and it’s a good break away from the strip for a few hours too.
I would recommend booking in advance, and you can book tickets here.

They filmed TV shows like Start Trek there, because the landscape is so crazy beautiful and other-worldly.
I recommend using the tour company ‘Pink Jeep Tours’ I used them both times I visited, and they were fantastic from start to finish.

Yes, Gordon Ramsey has a Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in Las Vegas! And it’s a fantastic choice for crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples! Especially if you can visit during a filming session!

Indulge in some spa treatments
OK, so one of the most under-rated things to do for couples in Las Vegas, has to be the spa treatments and spa facilities. Loads of people don’t even realise their Vegas hotel has a spa – but most Vegas spas are simply gorgeous.
My favourite spa is the Aria Spa at the Aria Hotel. It even has a mini infinity pool that looks over the hotel grounds.
It’s a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city below – and it’s a relaxing break to the livelier suggestions on this list!

Visit the famous ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ road sign
Next on my list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples, it’s visit the famous Las Vegas road sign! how could you not, it’s absolutely iconic and it’s one of the most famous parts of the city.

Experience the ‘Dive-in Movies’ at the Cosmopolitan Hotel
‘Dive-in’ movies are a summer event put on by the Cosmopolitan Hotel in their main swimming pool. This special event is next on our list of things to do in Las Vegas for couples.

You can see the whole city from up here, and there are views to be seen from every angle! Take your camera, you won’t be disappointed!
Area 51
While not directly in Las Vegas, the mystique surrounding Area 51—a highly classified remote detachment of Edwards Air Force Base—has made it a curious destination for those intrigued by the possibility of extraterrestrial life and top-secret military research.

We recommend Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que and bar inside the Red Rock Hotel and Casino!
Get drunk at ‘Nine Fine Irish Men’
‘Nine Fine Irish Men’ is an Irish bar at the New York New York hotel and casino. It’s a great little pub-style bar, with live music and even Irish dancers. And it’s next on our list of crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples!
We love spending a night there, drinking pints, Guinness, and singing along to the music and watching the Irish Dancers!
It’s a great little nightlife destination for couples in Las Vegas, so it had to make my list!
Visit Planet 13
Planet 13 is the largest dispensary in the city, and the WORLD (it’s legal in Vegas btw, if you didn’t know).

Definitely a great choice for crazy things to do in Las Vegas for couples!
Hey, thanks for the tips! Was looking for things to do with my wife in LV when we go there and this is a great guide.
So glad you found it helpful! x
Really like your blogs on Vegas! Wife and I went there last year and just booked another trip for April. The deal was too good to pass up. A room at the Palazzo nonetheless! I will make sure to ask for a room upgrade for sure even though the standard room there isn’t too shabby!
Hi Eric! I’m sure you’ll have an awesome time, especially if you get an upgraded room! Nothing quite like spoiling yourself just that little bit! I too can’t resist a trip to Vegas, it has to be one of my absolute favourite cities!
Thanks for all the useful tips! Ive been to Vegas before with my partner and we loved it. Going back next month for his birthday and was looking at surprising him with a few bits. The limo pick up from the airport is a great start! Do you mind telling me how much you paid for the limo? I just cant seem to find a limo on the website that looks like the one from your photo?
Also the foundation lounge at mandalay bay, did you have to pre book or can you just turn up and pay the entrance fee? The vies from there look amazing!!! xx
Hi Melissa – The limo is something my boyfriend always books as a surprise – but I think it’s between $100 – $200 dollars including the tip for the driver.
The Foundation room you’ll need to book for in advance – so they have your name on the list 🙂
Have fun!
Thank you for your tips. It’ll useful for me.
Great to hear it!
This looks so fun! When I was road tripping, my car partners decided NOT to stop in Vegas. We were right next to the strip using the bathroom and I just wanted to check it out so badly. Alas, I was overruled. Great tips though!
Hopefully sometime soon Amanda! 🙂
I would like to second the vote on going to Foundation Room. Me and my husband spent an evening there enjoying cocktails, eating some incredible food, and enjoying the amazing view. In our opinion its the best view in Vegas. We also went to a buffet (Cosmo),which kept us full for about a week! We only saw one show while in Vegas (Alibi Las Vegas), but it was so fantastic we didn’t need to see any more shows after that! It was a really fun interactive mystery tour/show and well worth every penny.
That’s a great list! I still have some places to visit the next time I’m in Vegas. One thing I’d also like to add is that anyone who is a car enthusiast, should check out the exotic cars and racing scene in Vegas. Not only there are some amazing tracks but also its the best place to rent luxury cars. I rented a MacLaren when from LVC Exotic Rentals and it was hands down the best thing I’ve ever experienced.
