This incredible attraction is tucked away inside Hermann Park and it’s home to an impressive 6000 different animals.

Yep, that includes lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!).

It’s one of our favorite things to do solo as being around the animals will make you feel as though you’re in good company!


Check out the Houston Space Center

Next on our list, we have a trip to the Houston Space Center.

There are several top-tier exhibits on display here (including a great one about the planets!).

But it’s the stargazing opportunities and the SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket on display that makes this a must-visit attraction.

It’s one of the BEST museums in Houston and it houses everything from dinosaur skeletons to gorgeous reptile remains.

Plus, the tour group is bound to keep you company as you wander through centuries of natural science!


Head on a pub crawl

Battleship Texas is the last surviving Dreadnaught and it is one of the most powerful weapons around (well, it was!).

You’ll be able to walk through the boat for approximately an hour and explore this historic ship as it once was.

Watch a show at Miller Outdoor Theatre

Want to enjoy a bit of artistic talent on your next trip to Texas?
