Each year, this glorious restaurant features a fixed price menu that allows diners to enjoy their food inside or outside.

On Christmas Eve, you can enjoy a variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts.

If I was to recommend one thing on the menu that you need to try, it would be the bone-in ribeye. Not only is it enormous, but it’s always perfectly cooked.

Sure, it’s not cheap, but some Christmas Eve dinners in NYC are extortionate! Another great choice for restaurants open on Christmas Eve in NYC.

So, we think it’s well worth reserving a table at this Italian wonderland well in advance.

Included in the price are five dishes: a starter, a salad, a gorgeous pasta dish, roast pork, and a beautifully decorated meringue.

It’s a Brazilian BBQ place, and you’ll get hefty portions, plenty of choices for sides, and lots of variety.

If you want something for Christmas Eve dinner that is fun, and a little different to the traditional festive dinners – then Fogo de Chao is going to be a good fit for you.

Estela

The owner of this restaurant was born in Uruguay, and he’s made his name in New York by creating wonderful, unique dishes that keep guests coming back for more.

Their Christmas eve prix-fix menu is $120 per person, but you can also order from the regular a la carte menu if it doesn’t quite float your boat.

As one of the best places to go for Christmas Eve dinners in NYC, Estela can get pretty packed out. Be sure to sample the amazing ricotta dumplings with white truffle while you’re here.

Perfectly indulgent and ridiculously tasty, this is an incredible place to go for your Christmas Eve dinner in New York City.

What we love about Houseman is the fact that the food is flavorful but uncomplicated, and the menu is simple but stylish. This is a place for foodies who like to keep things simple.

Not every group wants to be overwhelmed by big menus, and if you want a carefully cuarated menu, which promises delicious flavors and unique combinations – this is for you.

The dishes are stylish and sophisticated but simple in nature. Highlighting seasonal items, and key flavor combinations.

The star of their menu is thier Houseman Burger – so make sure you try that too!

Tuome

Featuring dim-sum style uni shu mai and stuffed quail among other dishes, it’s an incredible menu that is well worth sampling on the night before Christmas.

The decoration at this restaurant is simple, but it’s extremely inviting and will make you feel as though you’re in a home away from home.

This incredible restaurant has a set menu for Christmas Eve that comes in at a reasonable $95 per person. And it’s such a great place, with delicious food.

With tuna tartare, scallops, and grilled oysters on the menu, seafood lovers with certainly rejoice when dining here! It’s going to be a compilation of hits!

However, if you’d rather keep things meaty, you can opt for the delicious hanger steak. We highly recommend booking ahead if you want to have your family’s Christmas Eve dinner here.

It’s extremely popular, so be ready to put down a deposit!

So, if you’re looking for a dinner choice that is casual, and oh-so-Italian, then you’ll want to check out Roberta’s Pizza.

This bustling pizzeria is open until midnight on Christmas Day, making it possible for diners to eat and drink the night away.

If we had to suggest one dish to try at Roberta’s, it would be the oxtail tagliatelle. Unique and moreish, it’s the perfect pre-Christmas treat. 


Narcissa

Narcissa is one of the most affordable places to head for set Christmas Eve dinners in NYC. Coming in at $79 per person, Narcissa offers guests a selection of an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert.

Although you won’t get enormous portions for the money, you will feel satisfied at the end of the night.

If you do plan on dining here for any Christmas Eve this year, then you’ll want to make sure you’re wined and dined before 10pm.

Unfortunately, Narcissa’s opening hours are slightly shorter that day, so you’ll need to manage your expectations if you were expecting an all-night affair!

Quality Meats

One of my favorite restaurants in NYC, and a fantastic choice for the best Christmas Eve dinners in NYC – it’s Quality Meats.

Expect all the classic steakhouse choices here – amazing cuts of meat, incredible appetizers, and delicious desserts too!

I recommend the t-bone steak, and we love the Jalapeno and bacon appetizer! There’s nothing quite like it, and it’s seriously wow.

The vibe here is relaxed but sophisticated. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and it’s the perfect place to head for Christmas Eve dinner in NYC. I think you’ll love it.

Benihana

OK, I know Benihana is a chain restaurant, but there’s nothing wrong with a safe bet on Christmas Eve. Which is why this place makes it onto our list of places for Christmas Eve dinner in NYC.

If you want a Christmas Eve dinner in NYC that is familiar and delicious, then you really can’t go wrong with eating at Benihana.

Usually known for its sandwiches and deli items, this place turns into a fantastic festive eatery on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

Although you may think this place serves pastrami sandwiches and baked goods during these special days, you’d be quite wrong. Mile End Delicatessen actually serves up an amazing Chinese feast!

Featuring dishes like meat bao and stuffed eggplants, this is one of the most unique places to go for Christmas Eve dinners that won’t disappoint.
