There’s a really great vibe in Las Vegas during December, it’s a really feel-good destination, so it’s well worth visiting. If you’ve been wondering where to travel in December that’ll be fun and entertaining – Las vegas might be it.

NYC (for festivities and snow)

Next on my list of the best places to travel in December, it’s NYC. NYC is absolutely one of the most festive cities you can visit during the month of December, and it’s everything you’d hope for. Imagine towering Christmas trees in the NYC, magical store-fronts, twinkling decorations, and lots of cheerful festive visitors. There is so much to do in December in NYC – you definitely won’t be stuck for idea, that’s for sure!

It is worth remembering though, that prices do rocket in December in NYC, so you might want to be generous with your budget. Especially if you plan on shopping too! But when it comes to where to travel during December – NYC is an epic choice.

If you’re wondering where to travel in December for some sunshine, and t0 escape the cold – then I think December in Hawaii might be the right choice for you. Hawaii feels like a proper escape from the world of winter blues and snow, and if you’re looking for somewhere warm and tropical, this is it. With surfing, amazing beaches, cracking weather, wonderful locals, when it comes to where to travel in December, Hawaii is an amazing choice.

Next on my list of where to travel in December, it’s Orlando Florida. Orlando keeps a really mild temperature in December, which makes it one of the best places to travel in December (especially if you’re escaping the cold!). Of course, you also have the amazing theme parks in Orlando, which makes it an amazing place to travel in December.

Think of all the amazing daily entertainment with your pick of all the world-class theme parks and entertainment parks! Oh, and they’ll all be set for the festive period and Christmas too – making it even more special. Where to travel in December? Maybe Florida is the one for you!

Quebec City (for something unique)

Next on our list of where to travel in December, is Quebec City. OK, so Quebec City isn’t in the USA. But it’s only a short plane ride across the border (and a short flight time from cities like NYC, Boston, Washington DC, etc). What we love about Quebec City, is that it feels like Europe! It’s like stepping across the Atlantic, except you haven’t even flown over the ocean!

Quebec City oozes European sophistication, and during December it feels so festive and charming – which makes it one of the best places to travel in December! Wondering where to travel in December? If you’re craving a cosy, european getaway – Quebec City might have everything you need.

Aspen (for luxury and snow)

Aspen ski resort is a pretty classic choice for where to travel in December. Aspen is the ultimate ski resort in the USA, and it really comes alive in December! It’s definitely one of the best places to travel in December, because of the atmosphere, the charm, the views and (of course) the skiing and snowboarding too!

Nashville is next on my list of where to travel in December. Nashville is always a lively city to visit, and December is no different! In fact, you catch a few festive-themed music shows at this time of year, which can really make a trip even more special. Nashville is also quite mild in December (compared to some of the more northern states like NY) so it’s quite enjoyable to wander around and enjoy the city at this time of year.

And of course, we couldn’t mention Nashville without mentioning the AMAZING food! The food in Nashville is simply wonderful, and well worth visiting for. So if you’re a foodie wondering where to travel in December, maybe Nashville is the answer for you!

Lake Tahoe (for snow and nightlife)

If you’re wondering where to travel in December for skiing and snowboarding, then another great location to consider is Lake Tahoe. In the summer time, Lake Tahoe is a lively summer retreat, but in December it turns in s a winter wonderland with plenty to do and plenty to entertain yourself with!
