Trattoria Dell’Arte is the first place on my list of pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC.

It’s super Italian and serves up some of the finest wood-fired pizzas in the city. In fact, the pizza here is so good that it’s been called the “Best Pizza in Town” by restaurant critic Gael Greene. Now that’s high praise!

There is a selection of regular pizzas, but we’ll always recommend the Short Rib Meatballs or the Four Seasons pizzas.

If you’re not feeling pizza, why not try their incredible Veal Chop Milanese? It’s pricey, but totally worth it.

The next place on my list of the best pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC is Nizza

This is NYC’s ultimate pizza joint, and it’s in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen (which is an attraction in itself!). Nizza is the epitome of modern Italian dining, and you’ll find everything from burrata appetizers to large pizzas topped with classic ingredients.

What makes this one of our favorite pizza places is the traditional crust. Everything’s cooked the Neapolitan way, which is part of the reason this spot has been impressing locals and visitors since 2007!

Oh, and before we forget. This is one of the best pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC for gluten-free folks. There’s an entire section of the menu dedicated to gluten-free diners, and it’s long. Huzzah!

La Pizza & La Pasta

Next on my list of the best pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC? It’s La Pizza & La Pasta!

This place serves the best Napoli-style pizza and bougie pasta that we’ve come across. So, it certainly deserves a place on your Christmas itinerary!

The crust is always beautifully charred, the pasta is topped with basil, and the burrata is just *chef’s kiss*.

In our opinion, La Pizza & La Pasta is definitely worth a visit.

Angelo’s Pizza has been a mainstay in NYC for years. So, we thought it deserved a place on my list of pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC!

This charming pizza bar is tucked away in Midtown and specializes in authentic pizzas made from the best raw ingredients around. Think fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and perfectly leavened dough.

Believe it or not, these guys have been around since the late 1930s. This makes them one of the oldest pizza places open on this big day!

Hey, they’ve certainly had time to perfect the art of pizza-making!

Obica Mozzarella Bar

  • Closest subway station: 5 Av/53 St

I couldn’t write this list without mentioning Obica Mozzarella Bar! In my opinion, this place is a total slam dunk.

The atmosphere is quaint and dimly lit, which makes it perfect for couples looking for a low-key way to spend Christmas this year. And hey – you can remember it for your next date night!

When it comes to pizza places open on Christmas Day, we’d say this is the best option for drinks. They have a wide selection of wines and beers to pair with your pizza buffet.

Merry and bright, indeed!

This place is cheap, cheerful, and makes the finest thin-crust pizzas in the city. Don’t worry – I get that you won’t want to go down the deep-dish or classic Neapolitan route every time you dine!

What makes this place one of our favorite pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC is the sheer age of Lazzara. It’s over 30 years old and it’s among the most famous eateries in the Garment District.

Fancy a delicious veggie pizza? Want to keep things simple with a Margherita? Whatever you choose, I think you’ll love it.

The pizza at Lexington is always cooked to perfection. No soggy bottoms or burnt crusts here, folks!

We adore the Allo Vodka (don’t knock it until you’ve tried it!) and the Quattro Formaggi which is an instant classic.

Basil Brick Oven Pizza is tucked away in Astoria, and it certainly deserves a place on my list of pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC.

As you might have guessed from its name, this place does things the old-fashioned way. In a wood-burning oven!

When the cheese is bubbling and the toppings are glistening, your pizza will be pulled out with perfectly charred crusts. Dreamy.

Whether you’re in the mood for a stringy Mozzarella pizza or a traditional Pollo Boscaiola, you’ll savor every mouthful.

Next up on our list of pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC, we have the wonderful Enzo Bruni!

This place serves pizza that rivals anything you’ll find in Naples. it’s a bold claim, but we stand by it.

You can grab a 12″ pie for under $20, while a giant 18″ pizza is around $30. Considering you can easily split these pizzas between multiple people, it’s a complete steal.

Ribalta Pizza is among the coziest pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC. But that’s not all – every single pizza here is crafted the traditional Neapolitan way!

The crusts are always beautifully fluffy, but they maintain that signature crunch that makes pizza so darn good.

You won’t find crazy toppings here, but this is one of our go-to pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC for tried-and-true favorites.

Whether that’s a pizza topped with Parma ham or buffalo mozzarella, it’s unlikely to disappoint.

Next on my list of the best pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC is Urban Coalhouse Pizza. Now, I should caviat, that this place is actually in New Jersey, just across the river.

We’re not kidding when we say that the pizza here is next level. They’re not the most traditional pies in the world, but you’ll find pizzas topped with everything from stout-marinated figs to goats’ cheese and honey truffle oil.

You just need to pick a sauce, toppings, and any specialty oils that you want to be drizzled over your pie. That’s it! The ball is totally in your court.

Dave & Buster’s Brooklyn

To round off my list of the best pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC, we have Dave & Buster’s in Brooklyn.

This is technically a sports bar, which makes it perfect for catching up on missed games, downing beers, and getting some slices in.

What makes this one of our favorite pizza places open on Christmas Day in NYC is the fact that you can eat everything.

We’re talking wings, burgers, fries, pizzas – you name it, they’ll serve it. Who needs turkey, anyway?

And the best part is, they’re open super-late. So, you can carry the festivities on late into the evening!
