You’ll want to make sure you’ve packed the right clothes for your trip to Las Vegas in November.

As we’ve mentioned, Las Vegas weather in November is mild and comfortable – so you’ll want to pack for spring / autumn weather, mild temperatures, enjoyable sunshine, etc. But not over-the-top heat. Expect cooler evenings, so have some thing layers to change up and keep warm.

Think jeans and a t-shirt (and maybe a light jacket) in the evening.

Or a dress and a denim / leather jacket in the evening. For the daytime (if temperatures reach the highs of 19°C or 66°F, then you’ll likely only need one layer of clothing! As that can often feel comfortable and warm.

We would recommend packing light layers, so you can always wrap up warmer if need be, but on those sunny days, you’re not weighed down by bulky items.

A light jacket (and maybe a light raincoat) might be worth packing (just in case you get unlucky and experience the rain!). It’s unlikely, but it can happen!

Is it cold in November in Vegas?

Las Vegas is actually one of the warmest places in the USA during the month of November.

You may experience a cool breeze or cooler temperatures in the evenings, but a light jacket or cardigan would be perfect to deal with a slight drop in temperature.

You certainly won’t need gloves, or scarves!


Are the pools open in Las Vegas in November?

Most of the hotel / resort swimming pools on the Las Vegas Strip will be closed for the colder months.

Most of the Strip hotels pool seasons end in October, so the outdoor pools won’t be open in November.

There are a few exceptions though, which we’ve listed below:

  • The Bellagio usually open one or two outdoor pools in winter.
  • The Caesars Palace ‘Venus Pool’ is open for all ages during the winter.
  • The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has one open pool in winter: The Chelsea pool. Their main swimming pool closes for ice-skating and other festive events.
  • The Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay has a heated pool during the winter.
  • The Soliel pool at The Paris, is heated for use all year.
  • The pool at Vdara is open all year round.

If you do want to have a day of warm swimming in November, a great option is to visit one of the city’s many luxurious spas!

They all have wonderful swimming pools inclusive, so that’s a great way of getting around the pool season being closed.
