Are you looking for the best all-inclusive resorts in New York State? If so, keep reading!

When most people think of all-inclusive resorts, they might picture beachside properties in the Bahamas or Caribbean.

But, believe it or not, New York State is home to some beautiful all-inclusive resorts and hotels – offering a luxurious approach to escaping city life, and connecting with the wonderful scenery and nature.

And it’s no wonder this part of the USA attracts such wonderful resorts. There are so many wonderful places in New York State, from lakes and mountains, to cities and valleys. Oh, and don’t forget about the vineyards and wineries.

You have natural attractions like the Finger Lakes and the Catskill Mountains, and also the beautiful Adirondack Mountains and Thousand Islands.

I could spend weeks just exploring this small area of the USA, because there’s so much to see and experience here. I actually think New York State is one of the more underrated states for natural beauty, as it often gets overshadowed by the more rugged and larger landscapes.

I’ve tried my best to include all-inclusive options from a range of locations within New York State on this list, and for a range of budgets. Because your budget shouldn’t hold you back from ana amazing vacation.

Tip: For the best value, look into booking weekdays (instead of weekends). Or booking your trip during the slower off-peak seasons.

So, let’s get into it! Here are my favorite all-inclusive resorts in New York State…

Sunny Hill Resort, Catskills

all inclusive resorts in new york state

First on my list, it’s Sunny Hill Resort, which is located in a beautiful area in the Catskills, and provides a cozy and charming countryside break.

This place may not be a 5* hotel or resort, but it’s one of the best all-inclusive resorts in New York State, and so highly reviewed by guests.

So, what’s included? Well, this place offers their guests three meals a day, golf, fishing, spa activities and even entertainment included in the base price.

Although Sunny Hill is a wonderful place for a couple’s getaway, various kids’ activities make this the perfect family pitstop on any Catskills adventure.

Located just over 2 hours from the center of NYC, Sunny Hill Resort is the perfect all-inclusive resort in New York State, especially if you’re looking for something within traveling distance of the Big Apple.

It’s also very budget-friendly, and very friendly too – which are major positives for me!

Another great choice for all-inclusive resorts in New York State, is Villa Roma Resort.

Located in the heart of the Catskills, this family-friendly resort is ideal for those looking for a simple vacation that doesn’t scrimp on activities.

Alongside horseback riding, sledding, tennis, and various other sports, this resort offers guests beautiful views of the Catskill Mountains. And you’re really close to lots of other activities and locations, if you exhaust what the resort has to offer.

If you’re searching for somewhere with close proximity to nature, adventures and wildlife, then this is a wonderful pick.

Whilst this place is open for all the seasons – personally, I would visit in autumn, because the scenery is perfect, and the weather is just beautifully mild at that time of year.

If that wasn’t enough to convince you, this hotel has one of my list’s most beautiful dining rooms. You know, to enjoy all that all-inclusive food!

This place is truly something special, and it’s the kind of place that would make an ideal romantic getaway, honeymoon or ‘special occasion’ vacation.

Located in the Adirondacks, this beautiful hotel offers guests unbeatable views, and their own ‘private’ island to enjoy. It’s really something from a fairytale.

With award-winning dining, water activities, and an incredible 18-hole golf course, it’s no surprise that The Sagamore Resort continues to book out year after year.

Not only is this resort deemed one of the most luxurious hotels in Lake George, but it’s also listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a recipient of the AAA Four-Diamond Award.

Oh, and I haven’t even mentioned the incredible spa, which is one of the main reasons so many people are drawn to this incredible resort. They offer such unique experiences and treatments, it’s memorable and relaxing, all in one.

This is such a winning choice, and it’s like a perfect little escape away from it all.

Mohonk Mountain House, New Paltz

Mohonk Mountain House is one of the most popular (and famous) all-inclusive resorts in New York State. This place is kind of iconic!

Not only is it one of the oldest establishments on my list (it was built in 1869!), but it’s also one of the grandest.

The building itself is exquisite, and it offers unbeatable views of the surrounding mountains and lake. It feels like the ultimate ‘location’ and you’ll feel as though you’ve been whisked away somewhere really special.
