The Griffon Gastropub
The Griffon Gastropub is an EPIC gastro pub located in Niagara Falls and has been voted in the top 3 of all restaurants in Niagara Falls. It’s next on this list of things to do in Niagara Falls!
Literally, this place serves up the most epic portions, and delicious foods and has a great atmosphere too. If you only have one night in Niagara Falls, then I feel like this place is an awesome option!

This tour allows visitors to take an elevator ride to an observation deck which allows visitors great views of Horseshoe Falls and the Niagara River.
On the Journey Behind the Falls, you’ll traverse tunnels for an up-close view of one of nature’s greatest wonders. This is a wonderful choice for things to do in Niagara Falls, and we think you’ll love it.
Niagara Falls attractions: Goat Island
Next on my list of things to do in Niagara Falls, it’s Goat island. This is a slightly quirky choice for things to do in Niagara Falls, but we love it and think you will too.
Goat Island is a lovely place to visit and enjoy, there are some lovely walks to enjoy and lovely views to enjoy there. It’s also where the Tesla statue is located, which I mentioned earlier on this list, and is another great choice for things to do in Niagara Falls.

Next on my list of things to do in Niagara Falls, it’s Welland Canals Center. If you’re a fan of ships, then you should absolutely visit the museum’s adjoining Canals Center.
Built to allow ships to bypass Niagara Falls, it’s a stunning place to watch the ships go by. It’s a great choice for things to do in Niagara Falls, and a really lovely choice for Niagara Falls attractions.
Visit Niagara on the Lake
Located only 20 minutes from Niagara Falls is the beautiful town of Niagara on the Lake. Niagara on the Lake has a great shopping street that’s absolutely packed with shops, galleries, and cafés, and it’s next on our list of things to do in Niagara Falls.
In addition to these great attractions in Niagara Falls, there are also some fabulous wineries and golf spots for those that wish to live in the lap of luxury.

One of the best things to do in Niagara Falls if you’re looking to visit for shopping is to pay a visit to Jordan Village.
Like Niagara on the Lake, this place has an excellent Main Street and visitors love to while away the hours at the many charming boutiques and cafés here.

Located deep in the Niagara Gorge is a series of rugged paths geared at hikers. Should you be looking to see the best of Niagara’s flora and fauna, then Niagara Glen is the perfect place to visit.
As a bonus, Niagara Glen overlooks the rapid waters of the Niagara River, so you get a lot for your physical exertion on this great trail.
If you’re looking for Niagara Falls attractions that are scenic – this is a great choice. Niagara Falls doesn’t get more gorgeous than here!
It’s also a perfect option for things to do in Niagara Falls if you love photography!

Next on my list of things to do in Niagara Falls, it’s adventure golf! Who doesn’t love adventure golf?
If you’re a fan of mini golf but want to switch it up slightly, then head on down to Dinosaur Adventure Golf!
Featuring 18-hole courses, 3 distinct decorative ponds and even a steam erupting volcano, this is a truly unique place to attempt a hole in one. If you’re looking for things to do in Niagara Falls for all the family – this is great.

One of the nicest things to do in Niagara Falls, is to just wander around and enjoy the views and the energy this place has.
There are plenty of walkways along the waterfront, and we recommend spending and hour or two just wandering around and soaking it all in. And getting wet!

Clifton Hill Brewing Company is the best place to head for a Niagara Premium Lager or Honeymoon Peach Radler, so be sure to check in here for some unbeatable brews.

Niagara Falls attractions: Fireworks Cruise
Next on my list of things to do in Niagara Falls, it’s the fireworks cruise. This will put a little bit of ‘wow’ and romance into a normal boat cruise.
The Fireworks at Niagara Falls are truly spectacular, so we’d recommend heading on a Niagara Falls Fireworks Cruise for the best vantage point possible!
The best time to see these fireworks is the summer, so if possible, try and book between June and September for a guaranteed display.
There’s just something so romantic and special about this, so it had to make my list of things to do in Niagara Falls.
Fallsview Casino
I couldn’t write a list of things to do in Niagara Falls without including the Fallsview casino! It’s actually one of the main reasons lots of people visit Niagara Falls, aside from the falls of course.
If you love the excitement of casinos, then you’re in luck, for Niagara Falls’ very own casino has 150 table games and thousands of slot machines just waiting for you.
With great shopping and performances also hosted throughout the year, there’s plenty to do if you don’t manage to score with Lady Luck. This a Niagara Falls attraction just for adults – but it’s great fun.

Fort George ghost tour

As Niagara Falls is a great place to visit year-round, we thought we’d cover a couple of things that appear in the area during the winter months. One of the best things to do in Niagara Falls during winter is a visit to the Icewine Festival.
As Ontario produces around 80% of the world’s Icewine, this festival is the best place to visit for your fix of this unique beverage. We think this is a great option for things to do in Niagara Falls!

Winter Festival of Lights

Annie Edson Taylor’s Grave
Our next suggestion for things to do in Niagara Falls, is to visit Annie Edson Taylor’s grave. Her story is an unlikely one!
Though you may not be familiar with this woman, you’ll want to pay a visit to her grave to learn more about her incredible story.
On October 24, 1901, Annie nailed herself shut inside a pickle barrel and floated down over the falls. Somehow, she survived! She’s now buried in a section of Oakwood Cemetery should you wish to learn more!

Niagara Falls Trolley
Next on my list of Niagara Falls attractions – it’s the Niagara Falls trolley. The Niagara Falls Trolley is one of the best things to do in Niagara Falls for the sheer value for money.
For only $3, you can ride in a vintage trolley and see a bunch of the American side of the Falls. With unlimited hop-on and hop-off options, it’s a really great way to see the area cheaply so it’s a great choice for things to do in Niagara Falls.

Niagara Gorge Discovery Center
Next on my list of things to do in Niagara Falls, it’s the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center. This spot is a great showcase of the natural and local history of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area.
Featuring great information on the Niagara Gorge, this place offers a hands-on interactive experience for visitors looking to learn more about this feat of nature!
This is a great option for things to do in Niagara Falls, especially if you like educational activities.
The Observation Tower
Though we’ve briefly touched on this, the Observation Tower itself is absolutely one of the best things to do in Niagara Falls. If you’re looking for classic Niagara Falls attraction, this is a great one.
Offering visitors, the only unobstructed panoramic view of all three of Niagara’s falls, it’s a must-do! If you keep your eyes peeled, you may even spot some American bald eagles from up here!

Waves indoor waterpark
Next on my list of Niagara Falls attractions, it’s Waves Indoor Waterpark. Who doesn’t love a waterpark? Next on my list of things to do in Niagara Falls, it’s Waves Indoor Waterpark! Perfect for families who are visiting!
Offering 25,000 square feet of family fun, this indoor waterpark is one of the best things to do in Niagara Falls.
With a wave pool, huge water slides, kiddie pools and more, this is a fantastic day out for the entire family!
Hydroelectric Plant Ruins
If you want another taste of history, then head down to the ruins of the Schoellkopf Power Station. Built in the 1870s downhill from Niagara Falls, this generator crumbled into the Niagara River in 1956.
Though the collapse was tragic, the ruins are incredibly interesting and are certainly worth exploring if you’ve got the time.
A great choice for things to do in Niagara Falls, if you like learning about history. This is one of the most obvious Niagara Falls attractions, but a great one to check out!
Queen Victoria Park
Queen Victoria Park is next on my list of Niagara Falls attractions. Featuring a mix of greenery and amazing flowers, Queen Victoria Park gives you a front row view of Niagara Falls.
As the park is located along the Niagara Gorge and River, it’s a great place to take some photographs of the Falls in a relaxed setting.
This is a great option for things to do in Niagara Falls in the spring or summer!
A trip to the IMAX Theatre
Next on my list of things to do in Niagara Falls, it’s a trip to the IMAX theatre. The Niagara Falls IMAX Theatre is a fantastic place to head if you’re looking to experience Niagara Falls on the big screen.
With a bunch of movies that explore the history of Niagara Falls, this is one cinematic experience that is not to be missed. If you’re looking for Niagara Falls attractions for rainy days, this is a great idea.
The cinema is always a great idea (save it for those rainy days) so this had to make our list of things to do in Niagara Falls.

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not

Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks is another interesting choice for Niagara Falls attractions. It brings over 100 figures of the rich and famous to life in the heart of Niagara.
With 16 themed galleries that each offer some excellent photo opportunities, it’s the perfect place to visit if you’re wanting to feel like a star for a day.

Bird Kingdom Niagara Falls
The final thing on our list of 50 things to do in Niagara Falls is the Bird Kingdom Niagara Falls. As the largest indoor aviary, this is THE place to visit if you’re a bird fan.
The environment here allows for some pretty up-close interaction, so it’s the perfect day out for bird-loving families that are looking to learn more about these majestic creatures.
