Lilian Place is also known for its ghost hunting.. as one of the oldest properties on Daytona Beach, it’s no surprise that there have been ghosts spotted here throughout the years! Bongoland Ruins

Next on our list of things to do in Daytona Beach, it’s the Bongoland Ruins. This might be one of the weirdest things to do in Daytona Beach! What is it? Well, basically, it’s the old ruins of a former short-lived dinosaur theme park. Now, the old exhibits live one in a peaceful (and pretty) garden.

Some useful info…. Bongoland ruins are found in the Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens, which are open daily from 8am – 5pm. The gardens ask for a donation of $1 (a bargain!) and easy parking is available, and is free.


Fortunato Park

The go-kart track is 1/4 mile long, and it’s suitable for beginners as well as pros! If you want to fit in a bit of racing to your trip to Daytona Beach (but you’re not a NASCAR driver yourself!) then this is a great way to get your fill! Yes, it might not be as high-profile as some of the other courses in the area, but it’s still a great place to play. Their whole manta is ‘quality and affordable golf’ so you know it’s a great place to check out that won’t break the bank!


Norwood’s Eatery & Treehouse Bar

Norwood’s Eatery & Treehouse Bar is next on our list of things to do in Daytona Beach! It’s a really fun bar with a rooftop for enjoying drinks with a view! Not only is the food here great, but there’s also amazing live entertainment too (another reason to love it!).

The treehouse bar is one of our favorite locations in the city, and it feels like you’re in the Bahamas on vacation when you drink there! It’s a great choice for things to do in Daytona Beach!


Smyrna Dunes Park

Smyrna Dunes Park is next on our list of things to do in Daytona Beach! It’s a beach park just south of the city, and it’s such a gorgeous place to explore.
